Gaming Hall of Hell

What are the worst computer games you've ever seen or played?

I'd have to give a palm for Greatest Expectations Deceived to Ultima IX. We were told it was a fantastic RPG. In fact, it was a braindead action game, with an incredibly buggy engine. A sad end to a great series.

Black and White: I was very disppointed. I spent tons of money on the game and memory to support it, and it wasn't too good, and extremely hard. Plus it had no replay value.

Don't bother. Thorin's right. The only part that works well is the pet/creature, and the rest is braindead.

ugh, yes i'll third the fact that black&white blew. just way to hard in my opinion. every two seconds you're having to do something. you'd think the people could fend for themselves just a bit...

The funny thing was how heavily EA promoted this, and how slavishly the game media treated it like The Grail. Most reviews acted as though it was perfection, because they'd been told it was.

Well, i think the concept behind it was...to a degree...unique. True, similar things have been done before, but the idea of the game was impressive. The only problem was that the game-play sucked. :D

B&W must suck! The only O/S it won't run on is NT4. I've got a screaming professional graphics station with a 96M graphics card and dual processors (that's why I run NT). Can't load B&W!

To top it off, I tried to upgrade to 2000...3D Labs refuses to write a driver for the GMX to run on 2000. I can upgrade to the new GVX for only $700.00!

B&W must suck! :(
