Comp Norton help needed

Post by CM »

My virus update has been messed up fro the past couple of weeks.
I won't upgrade my virus definitions properly, it always has a problem.
I have looked on the Norton website for the fix for my viral update thing.
But i can't find it.
I remember some saying they knew where to get it.
So could anybody provide a link?

I'd re-install it. That's what I had to do.

It could also be Norton server problems, i installed a new norton 2002 on some machines for a customer of ours, it wouldn't do the liveupdate because their servers were down :(
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

Ok i have been trying this for a couple of weeks now, but it just won't upgrade.

Here is what it says

=============

Windows 98 4.10.2222 A

NAV95 7.01

LiveUpdate was not able to complete this update.

Please contact Technical Support and provide all information displayed on this screen.
For contact information, go to Help->Technical Support from your Symantec product.

The files below could not be updated by LiveUpdate:
-----------------------------------
File: C:\PROGRA~1\NORTON~2\bootwarn.ex^
28672 Bytes 11/29/2000 22:35:04.
File: C:\PROGRA~1\NORTON~2\navlwapi.dl^
20480 Bytes 11/29/2000 22:35:10.

====================

So what can i do?
Should i try to upgrade the Liveupdate - already done that?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
