A One Charge Resurrection Wand

Post by fable »

That's what you've got. No chance of recharging, either. But, special today, we'll throw in the ability to rezz anybody, anywhere, anytime. That's right! You don't need to be standing next to a fresh corpse bleeding all over that nice Persian carpet. You can just think of the person you want to bring back, and they'll arrive with all their memories, in the prime of their lives--assuming they lived that long, of course.

So whom do you resurrect?

My Grandfather on my fathers side. I never got to meet him, which is a shame, he seemes like a very charasmatic and interesting fellow.

He also managed to live for a week with a broken neck after falling out of a tree at 85 :)

G'night Mr Sleep - and all ;) :D

Just one quick resurrection thought for me, not family related, Marie Curie - I would be interested to see what she could discover with todays technology at her fingertips :)

I'm a little tempted to say Hitler - we could put him on trial and then sentence him to life in prison, but I should find a more constructive use for the wand...
May you walk on warrrrm sannd....

LOL, @Loner! :D

Probably my father. He died of cancer in his early 60's, about 20 years ago. Never met my wife, never got a chance to see me making a successful career out of writing. He also had a great, whimsical sense of humor. He had his severe failings, but it would be nice to see him and speak with him, once more. :)

At the risk of sounding mundane, I would probably save the wand for my immediate family, should the unthinkable ever happen. Also, they could use it on me should the unthinkable happen to me first.

But, I do really miss my dog.
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

Don't say that, if heaven and all that is real(in one way or another), he's watching.
I believe all the loved once I(everybody) have lost live on in my heart.

Gee, I'd probably do the same... don't worry about sounding Mundane.

I'd more than likely save it.

My paternal grandfather. He died of cancer when I was 12. He absolutely adored me, I spent more time with him during my early childhood than with my parnets. He would have loved to see how my life turned out :)

If I could revive a family member it would be my mum, so she could meet my daughter who I was pregnant with when she died :(

My grandfather, he died in 85. He died after I finished basic training in the army, I was in Korea when he died. I didn't get a chance to say good bye. :(

It would have to be my father. He died when I was 12 from cardiac arrest. I would have wanted him to see both my brother and me grow up, meet my wife, and perhaps even stick around to see my future kids. There are so many things you want to discuss with your father, but unfortunately, most of the subjects turn up after you're twelve.

@KK, if you'll read my first post, the idea of bringing back a single person wasn't in any way limited to family members. So whom would you bring back?
