party formations

Post by cwbuckley »

I am playing nwn2. I am at a point where I am ready to hunt down Logram Eyegouger. My question is, when Casavir wants to join the party. Is there any way that you can have more then two people. No matter what I do, I can only get two people in the group. Thanks in advance for your help.

You should be able to have yourself and 3 others. At least thats how its like in my game.

Spoiler - highlight to read:

Didn't you get the dwarf the tiefling and the druid in your party? Thats 3.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

Actually I had four in my party until I met Casavir. Now I have two, Casavir and myself. I can't figure out how to add two others to my party.

hmm when casavir joins you have to kick out one of the 3 other than yourself. But only kick out 1. If you kick all 3 out of the party then it is just you and Casivir. Experiment with that screen of party arrangement until you get it.

Sorry for bumping, and this is about party formations in MotB.

I just started playing MotB, and just now joined up Kaelyn the Dove to my party. So far, it is I, Gann, Safyia and Kaelyn the Dove.

I play fighter (fortunately ..), but everyone else's mages / ranged? And now this Kaelyn the Dove that seems to be support and healing? Sure thats good, but actually it feels like it would need a pure tank instead, so to speak ..

Are there any other companions or are these three that apply in the beginning?

Thx,
From Sweden

Two others: Okku and OoM.

But only one or the other (..one is Good the other is Evil). Nor do you have to get either.

Much later in the campaign you might pick up another companion. ;)

Depending on how you build/equip Gann and Kaelyn - both can be excellent melee types.. and then there is Kaelyn's racial summon which is outstanding.

Hmm ok, but this formation is capable?

As I said, thought it was a bit much ranged. And Gann, when not spellcasting i have him on Shortbow, due to the feats.
Well now i will start spell-planning Kaelyn, her spells will change both Gann´s and Safiya´s spell-chart.
hah scottg one n only :D

Really like MoB so far! But I have serious problems with the spiders. I suffer from "anxiety disorder" thus... little disturbing :( .

I usually go with Adamantium Katana's for Gann (with elemental damage enchanted-in). (..cast Freedom of Movement and then Tortoise Shell for his "armor".)

Similarly for Kaelyn I like Adamantium Flails (with elemental damage enchanted-in).

Shields for both with added AC enchanted-in.
