This time, I made a male elven sorcerer, who, for reasons of charisma and tactics and lots of other stuff seemed ideal to get the two elven ladies wrapped around his red dragon wings. Normally I never take Aribeth along, so I had no idea what to expect, but I did know beforehand she can be romanced and whatnot.
So, here's the deal : Nathyrra confessed her love to my gentleman as per schedule (a very boring romance, I must say, hardly different from befriending her as a female PC, but she's a nice girl), even before I got Aribeth along. Then Aribeth had some interjections, a not-unwelcome mimic quip, and... that was all. I know there are party interjections planned for chapter three, I've had them before (incidentally, if you have the same henchmen in ch2 and ch3, they have the same dialogue over again, is this supposed to be that way?) but the girls never had a single word between them. I was very disappointed, they are both female elven atoners with strong faith (I took good Aribeth) so I expected some talk about that, but nothing.
At one point Aribeth started a dialogue that was cut off (she initiates, I click "yes, Aribeth?" and that ends conversation. Same thing when I ask what is it she wanted earlier.) Then, towards the end of the game, right at the door to the ice giant fortress, she popped up as if she had an interjection, but what she said was the text she gives if you kick her out of the party and then come back. Of course, she was joined the whole time, soo... strange?
Also, Nathyrra had no talks after we've confessed to each other - Valen has one more dialogue, IIRC, about the future assuming we survive, and he's my true love every time (I have a soft spot for him, all right?
So, to end this rambling, is all this normal and part of the slipshod coding charm of HotU, or is there actually some way to get more quality-party-time?
