Loading Gallows Courtyard [DA2]

I don't know if this is the place to post this but it's the only message about Gallows Courtyard.

I can't get this thing to load. I finished the first part of the game, killed the ogre and talked with Flemeth. When my conversation with Flemeth finishes the game starts loading the next episode. But it never finishes loading. I let it load for 2 hours while I did other things and it still hadn't finished. It's gotta be a bug!

Help!

Have you tried repeating this? Rebooting? Reinstalling?

Loading Gallows Courtyard

I've re-booted with the same result.
I uninstalled the program and re-installed it. Same result.
I've spent a couple of hours chatting with EA tech. support and they keep saying "try this". Nothing they've suggested has worked.

Anyone have any ideas?

There are things you could try that might be time-wasters. You could start a new game and see if that changes anything. If you're playing with the latest patch, then you could try the game without it. You could try adjusting your video settings down. Depending on where you got the game, you could try to exchange it.

Loading Gallows Courtyard

I re-installed the game. That did't work. I patched it up to 1.03. That didn't work.
Then I noticed something on Origin. Something about this thing that Origin does which might interfere with some games and if it does you can disable it.
I disabled it and the game works fine now.

Unfortunately I don't know what it was or where I found it on Origin, I was just looking at anything and everything.

Anyway, the problem is solved.
