Arcanum XP(cannot install)

I was wondering if someone here could help me with a problem.
When I mount install disk in deamon tools and try to start installation the next message pops up:

"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance."

I have XP service pack 2:tried compability mods.tried it with administrator rights and still it does not work.Any suggestion would be appreciated.Please help.

Have you tried your original gamedisc? Maybe there's a fault in the iso-file?

It seems that everything is ok with gamedisc,but did not think that ISO file might be corrup somehow.ill try to redownload it.Thanks for the suggestion,Ill be back if problem persist.

Just try the original disc. Never had any problems with it. ISO-files tend to be weird, at times.

maybe use winrar to extract ISO instead of daemon tools
