Four Failed Souls quest MotB

I got all four souls, my journal even tells me so. However, when I click on the door, I just get to go through the riddle, and finally, I get the option to "Leave." The door won't open. Any idea what's wrong?

Are you sure that you got all 4 souls you need to open the door?(I found lots of souls/soulstones/fused soul/ammon jeros soul etc. and I found it very confusing).

You need to complete the following quests to get the 4 souls you need(they shouldnt be active anymore):
-Order from Chaos
-A Fitting Replacement
-Conflicted
-Uncanny Reflections

If you completed them run the updater if you didnt(should work with the latest patches because the door worked for me,I played MotB 2 months ago and as I know v1.23 is still the newest).

If nothing works try to reinstall the game and update it(maybe a file is missing/damaged/quarantined/in a bad sector or 1 of your mods causes the problem(or just not compatible with the version of the game)).

Yes, I am sure I got the required souls. My journals says so, even, as I said in my first post.

Did you fight with Ataman? He should appear in the location when you collect all four souls.

Oh sorry... My fault. He will appear when you open the door.

maybe one of the scripts didn't work. Try to load earlier game or eventually reinstall it. Nothing else comes to my mind right now...

I gave myself the required items via cheats. Now it worked. I think one of the souls glitched. Thanks for the help!
