Mage Attacks

Post by Ragin Cajun »

Just curious, how do you hit ANYTHING as a mage? Was just fighting another mage and she kept moving side to side and I missed every attack, even trying to aim in front of the direction she was moving. Any suggestions?

Area affect spells' even the weak fireball's 5' radius will help, and practise, their movements are annoying but after a while you'll get the hang of it.

The most annoying ones I find are the Dremora Mages (black Robes) they annoy me even now, but a poisoned weapon usually does the trick; the best method of course is to hit them before they know you're there. I confess even my straight mages tend to be sneaky and mainly because of those [expletive deleted].

Bear in mind that Dremora are magic resistant, s drain and damage and absorb health are less effective against them, elemental damage is good against them though.
