Critical Damage question

If a weapon has 10% critical/backstab dmg. Does this affect melee critical % or is there a different modifier at work? When I take a weapon on and off with this effect I don't see it increasing my melee % crit.

I get it now. 10% critical/backstab dmg is whenever you crit you'll do 10% more dmg or 10% more dmg for backstabs. Melee crit % is the actual chance to crit.

It does affect the melee critical and backstab damage. They do affect the damage, so if you're going for a DPS rogue, it's worth stacking items with that effect.
