The Lost Character

Post by cjuneau »

I had been playing my Wood Elf archer on the Xbox 360 version of Oblivion for about ninety hours of gameplay. I went to make a new character and it somehow without my permission saved over my other character. I almost cried when I found this out. I would like to know if there is any way of even dreaming about getting my character back.

Any chance you saved them to different devices (e.g. one on a memory card and one on the hard drive)? Unfortunately, if you actually overwrote the old save game slot with the new save, there's no way to get it back.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?

Seems like a good reason not to buy an Xbox...
