Redcliffe Castle

I have killed all the "dead" threatening the town and the windmill area. Next I assume I need to go to the Castle.....but how.???? I can't find any access that gets me close. There are some stairs NW of the windmill area, but even though my indicator is gold, I can seem to go up the steps???? Is this a bug or am I just in the wrong place??? Directions please.

Enter the windmill. Hover the mouse around the side of the steps til it gives the arrow icon - its a bit fiddly but its just to the left hand side of the steps if I remember correctly (when facing away from the door).

Also have you spoken to the Knights after the battle against the undead in front of the windmill? They will give you a key to access the windmill and suggest you use it to get into the castle.

....Though that seems like an unnecessarily complicated way to get access. And I did talk to Sir Perth and the knights and no one said much of anything nor offered me a key????? Hmmmmm?

It isn't "complicated" but simply a trap door which leads into the castle. It's because your character can't take the front door.

And it isn't Sir Perth which gives you access but the Bann Teagan after the nights battle and the following cut-scene

Problem Solved

There was one more Walking Dead off in a corner of the village....once I killed him I got the cut-scene and everything was fine.
