What are your opinions of who to side with in the Anvil of the Voil - Branka or Caridin? Which is the best one?

The only difference with these sort of decisions is perhaps what item drops you get from killing certain NPC's.
Don't think you know all the answers.
I found siding with Caridin the morally right choice. A golem army is nice, but Branka has completely thrown overboard all ethics in pursuit of her obsession. Oghren will be sad but will understand.

Want to Keep Shale/Shayle? Then you MUST side with Carridan if you bring HER to the Anvil. If you side with Branka, She WILL desert and attack you. If you DON'T bring her, LIE to her, so that her quest is opened.
Other than that, the biggest difference is: Side with Carridan, get Dwarf units, decent enough Melee, I suppose (Great attack, low defense), and end the slavery. Side With Branka, Get Golems (Best Melee Units in the game, but continue the slavery.
