Umbra's Sword (may contain spoilers)

Feel free to kill this thread, it's mainly a question I have regarding information I have about Umbra's sword and the sword itself. In the ObliviWiki, it says that Umbra is weightless, and I do remember that the sword was indeed weightless when I got it. But later on, it suddenly begame its full weight of 46 pounds (I think). Does the sword remain weightless until you refuse to give it to Clavius Vile, and only when you decide to keep it become weighted? Or is this a known glitch?

The sword will only be weightless as long as it is marked as a quest item. I.e. Before you complete Vile's quest. So, it ain't no glitch
