Problems Starting Veteran Level

After completing the mercenary level,I go through the game menu and press Veteran and the game starts in Erulan, but all the tasks are crossed out .Please Help?!

The tasks are blank or checked off (with the big red checkmark)?

They should all be blank again. If they are checked off then I'd assume you have a glitch/bug.

Note: You will not have access to the first task as that is the "Training" session in the trenches. This task is skipped after being completed in Merc mode.
