Wait before we change subject here how about making your own robes, kinda like the starforge where you can get revans robe ;) .

Anyways, New Characters? I say dump the aliens (I'm not much of an alien lover) More humans in my opinion
Are you kidding? I say more aliens! I saw only few of them in my party and a whole bunch of humans. How about selecting a rase of the main character?

How about some Rakatan characters (you know, the creators of Star Forge?),
that can feel the Force again thanks to the succes of their genetic research?

A rakaten eah? Good idea, but there are not much left of them, so maybe a rakatan survivor of a ship crash on a godforsaken island on a godforsaken planet :p

I think that the main character should have different alien species as well as humans. :D

You mean a Trandoshan as a party member or the main character's race? I don't really like Trandoshans very much after I've played Republic Commando. Not very friendly aliens and they hiss a lot whenever they talk. Also, the hissing will get irritating after a while.

If your main character is a Trandoshan, I can't imagine how he would interact with other people especially talking to others. With the hiss and all, it would creep me out whenever I hear him/her talk.

It *is* worth noting that Trandoshans can kick some serious booty, which for some might compensate for the...speech impediment. I certainly forgive them for it. ;)

Yeah. They pack shotguns and sub-machine guns as main weapons (they're really using bullets, not lasers) plus some arm blades for close combat. Fought them in Republic Commando as Delta Squad in both the hijacked Republic Star Destroyer and Kashyyk and they were troublesome to deal with. :)

The Trandoshans (or Trandos for short) were tasked as slavers in that game but generally, I think they are more to mercenaries and as what Kayos said, bounty hunters.

EDIT: Removed pointless sentences.

I wish I had known more of what Trandoshans really looked like because the ones I encountered in Republic Commando came in 3 different types. The Trando slaver is short and fat, carries a shotgun and charges at you like crazy when despete and angry. The second is the mercenary, who wears a gas mask and packs a sub-machine gun. Fights in a more professional manner than the slavers. They also rappel down ropes just like real life commandoes. The third is the heavy mercenary. Wears full body armour from chest to toe (not including the head) and carries a gattling gun. Walks like a tank and is very hardened against small arms fire.

I think Darth Maul came from the same species as Bao-Dur, which is Iridonian.

Hmmm, I was under the impression that Darth Maul was a Zabrak. Iridonian/Zabrak, same thing?

Yup, he's a Zabrak (went to Wookiepedia and did a search) but I wonder if Iridonian and Zabrak are related species since both Bao-Dur and Darth Maul look similar to each other (with the exception of the tatoo, that is)? Might have to do some searching to get concrete answers.

Eeth Koth was a zabrak. The horn placement is slightly different, and they have hair. Iridonians don't have hair, and the horns are more around the crown of the skull, and 1 near each temple, but closer to the ears.

What I'd like to see is more aliens, but none of the stupid crap. I mean, c'mon, we all know twi'leks can't fight worth crap, give us something cool. I didn't like to see a mild-mannered version of darth maul, that gave me no pleasure.

However, I would like to see one of those lizard bounty hunters from Ep V, those are cool, and to make a Jedi one? It'd kinda be like from the back of the "Star Wars Galaxies: Starter Kit" box, but that didn't look too shabby either.

Wookies are a plus, and I'd like to see a better Iridonian. A Yoda-like guy wouldn't be bad, if it was made to fight like yoda. I wouldn't wanna see a small guy hacking at legs. That's just lame. Definitely no Gungans, but I wouldn't mind seeing some Geonosians, either to fight against or as regular people, but none as party members.

Dugs wouldn't be bad to see as civiallians, in fact, I'd like to see more civillians, everywhere, and more than just humans. Make it seem more civilized, and more inhabitted.

I'd like to see someone like Plo Koon as a party member. I'd say Ki Adi Mundi, too, but he's too close to a human, it'd be a waste of a party space.

I'd like to be able to boot party members, too. If so-and-so is getting on my nerves, or is a waste of time and space, see ya, I'll take this big guy w/ a cool gun, he'll get the job done.

um, yoda isnt made for fighting, his strongest attribute is his knowledge of the force and ability to use it.

All that i want to see is a Kel Dor and whatever other random races people can think of.

Also Irodonians and Zalbrak's can have kids with one another. that might be why darth maul and bao-dur dont look exactly the same

I know Yoda isn't meant to fight. I've seen the movies more than once. But he DOES fight, does he not? And I'm sure in the game you don't want a guy who is just gonna stand there and use the force to save you. All party members are available to fight, and are able to be equiped w/ weapons, so why make an exception for him? If he (or anyone his species) is put into the game, expect them to fight. I just hope they make the fighting better than lame, that's all.
