But what are the drivers, and is it drivers or hardware that is conflicting (IRQ-conflict) and what hardware is it, what is your operative system.
I really depends, @Craig, like everybody's said. Try cleaning out all the unneeded stuff from your system tray, and see if that helps. Look online for the latest drivers. She if upgrading your BIOS will help. Try a good memory manager, like ALS Software's Memokit.

That doesn't tell us much. Which specific sound card and which network card? What are their IRQ settings? And did you try the remedies I suggested--removing items from your system tray, etc? How long has this problem been occuring?

you can also try to remove the soundcard from its pci-slot and place it in another pci-slot. (remember to turn of power, otherwise you'd might fry your computer )
