Why Exile and Revan should come back.

Post by Darth_Juro »

I don't know if this is already a topic or something and I'm sorry if it is. but I was wondering why Revan and Exile should come back.....please don't flame and please post the reason you think so.

I personally don't think they should actually come back they should just be at least mentioned. Reason is KOTOR II revolved around Revan/True Sith/ Wound in the force......it would be boring if III was made the same way.

Most people agree with you one way or the other but you should have posted this at the For BASTILA's and REVAN's fans - HOW would you want to have them back in KOTOR III thread.

Oops. My bad. Anyway, in my opinion, both Revan and the Exile have to be featured in the next KOTOR in one way or the other since the story for the previous KOTORs seem to revolve around them. Furthermore, since the ending in KOTOR 2 really turned out like a stump, a sequel to close the trilogy will be more suitable than starting over from a new story for the next KOTOR.

I can't remember the game series it was, but there was a game I played where if you played and saved the prequel, you could load your character from that game, and not have to make them all over again. I think that'd be a great idea if Revan and the exile came back (or you could re-make them in you wanted to, or if you didn't play the prequels). That way you wouldn't have to make them over again if you didn't want to, or lucasarts wouldn't have to worry about how to make the appearance of them.

Talking to them may be a slight problem, however, seeing as how in KOTOR II the exile doesn't say one word.

Personally, I think they should be put back in the game as people you look for/talk to for advice or answers, nothing more. At the least you should hear about them from others, don't exclude them completely, that would make the last 2 games pointless.

I think they need to be part of the storyline as we need a few loose ends tied up but I don't think they have to be back as playable characters, but maybe as characters you meet (if they can work out a method for you to be able to alter how they look/gender so its consistent with Kotor1&2). However, doing this could cause complications so as far as gameplay and storyline goes I think I'd prefer it if they were mentioned quite a lot but never actually seen in person (maybe you could see their ship in a battle or something though).
