Shamans, IMO the only finished class in the game, I got one to lvl 28 but it didn't suit me, I never learned the use of totems properly (and my main is a paladin, so shaman was pretty different) Mind you though, there are ALOT of shamans (my bro plays one and he told me) so it might be hard to get into groups and such... Shamans are a great fun to play though, and very worth trying out

no. shamans and mage are two different classes.. only horde can be shaman! (and only alliance can be paladin)
I once had a little teaparty, this afternoon at three, twas was very small, three guests in all; I, myself, and me. myself ate up the sandwhiches, while i drank up the tea. twas also i that ate the pie,and passed the cake to me
Nah, shamans are pretty different from mages I think, most shamans are Windfury based are are thus pretty specced towars melee, also they have Mail armor at lvl 40 and much weaker spells than mage.
Ofc you can build a shaman as a mage wannabe, but that will only be, yes a wannabe weak mage...
I am building a mage right now, it is great fun!
They are completely different from pallies in every respect, something that gives me a bit of a challenge, still, I think I play mine pretty well
I love the ability to conjure food and drink, as well as the icredibly useful teleport spells i get
And ofc, nothing is more fun than duals, when you just keeps someone sheeped for forever

I really thing that you should focus on one character at a time when gaming. You get so much more out of it then and become involved with your char much more. I have tried starting with alts now that I've been lvl 60 for almost three months, but for some reason I seem to have developed such a relationship with Aleachim (my main) that I always prioretize her over the others.

On the other hand, alts can be a nice way to "relax" when you've got enough of your main
My Mage is 49 now, levelling is sooo slow, and Mages in general have many problems, I sometimes get tired of them and then I move on to my Priest or Druid. They are both around 15-18 so levelling is much easier, the quests are fun and I don't have to wait for ages for other ppl to get into an instance at last...
At higher lvls the lack of company can hold you back from a lot of quests!
Meanwhile, my main is resting and when I go back to her next day (or sometimes after a couple of days) she can progress through a whole lvl with the rest bonus

I don't want to let you down, but you will see how the spell we mainly rely on fail in PvP... Mages have a LOT of serious problems but apart from that, they are still fun to play

hehe, I am getting bored with my lvl 60 paladin now, so I am playing my mage (33 atm) and mage is great fun! Doing stranglethorn Vale now, and the strangest thing is that I very rarely die

I play on a PvE server, so that's okay
but in duals, my sheep-pyroblast-firebal-frost nova-fireball-arcane missiles (x2?)-fireblast works like a charm
Oh, and what are these problems you speak of?

That depends on the priests "spec" - if he takes talents from the Shadow tree he indeed can be a priest which does damage. However, for the L60 dungeons, most priests specs for healing or mana-effecient/regeneration and then most all they do is healing/cure/dispel.
When I played - I didn't spec my priest for damage (shadow) because I wanted to keep my party and raid alive. If I wanted to do damage, I'd taken another class.
The shadow priest is the best class for 1 on 1 PvP... A lucky/skillfull shaman might beat them, but that is the only class that can..
Well played druids are also a pain in the behind. You have to time you fear/silence in exactly the moment that they change back from bearform to normal form. If you do it to early or to late the druid will just to Natures Swiftness heal then back in bear form and by the next cycly you run out of mana....
