I don't yet have Broken Steel and was wondering about, yes, the level cap.
My current character was level 20 a while ago and since then I've been tracking down all of the bobbleheads (I'm up to 17 so far). I've been doing this for a good while and would have racked up a fair few XP's for it if I'd been eligible.
What happens when I finally install Broken Steel? Will I, as I hope, suddenly regain all the XP I lost out on and go up a couple of levels or will I, as I suspect, start gaining XP as if I'd just turned level 20?

Broken Steel Level Cap
Every time you throw dirt you lose a little ground
The latter, but you'll probably reach level 25-26 just by playing Broken Steel.GrimHarvest wrote:Will I, as I hope, suddenly regain all the XP I lost out on and go up a couple of levels or will I, as I suspect, start gaining XP as if I'd just turned level 20?

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

It just seems like a lot of waste. For me, personally, a lot of the fun goes out of the game once I stop gaining XP and I generally just start again with a different character. I'm looking forward to a raised level cap very much.
Still, it's all moot now as I got 3 red flashing lights last night. Woe!
