Two questions

Post by mewp »

I did the Azani Blackheart quest with Azzan. During the quest he manage to tear down a bridge. Now I can't get back to the beginning to leave the cave. I thought that I would just use levitate, ( which I could do in the other two Elder Scroll games) only I can't find it anywhere. So I thought I would do telekinesis. Except the game says that my level is not high enough to even take training in it. I do not know what to do to get my level high enough. Or to rebuild the damn bridge. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :(

Unlike previous TES titles, there is no levitate spell in TES4 Oblivion (for various reasons that have been discussed on this forum at some length). And telekinesis won't work on yourself, only objects, so you can't use it to levitate. However, there aren't any places where you need to levitate to complete a quest. There's probably a locked (and possibly concealed) door that's activated by a nearby switch or pushblock (also possibly concealed).

The bad news: on rare occasions switches and pushblocks can be buggy, and if they're in the wrong state they won't activate the door or bridge or whatever (which sounds like it might be your problem).

The good news: there are two ways out of Atatar, one of which doesn't require going through any locked doors. It's been a while since I did the FG quests so I don't remember the exact route, but you could try googling for a walkthrough or a map.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?
