Heh! I just corrected a typo too!dragon wench wrote:*sigh* Thanks, it's edited now.. This is what happens when I'm multitasking![]()
Yeah, something like that. Or maybe to use a slightly different analogy: it's like looking forward to a good meal in a restaurant and then, due to a last minute change of plans, having to prepare dinner at home instead. Now, my SO and I both like cooking most of the time, but that aside...![]()
Or, something like that anyway.
Perhaps closer to the truth, it's like having to fix something that should have been made properly in the first place.
Oh, like getting a new car or something, and then learning it has been recalled.
But what I was trying to analog to, was that gathering ingrediants equals gathering the various mods. Some are for the basic cake/pizza mix, and that equals the basic game itself. While adding condiments to suit to taste, would be the sprinkles on the cake or the crushed red peppers on the pizza, which for the game, would be the mods that are more fun to install.
But then that's a bad analogy because one doesn't make the game to begin with. What would be a better one, would be that you took the basic recipe, or game in this case, and changed it in the baking process by adding the mods that you thought should be there to begin with. Then the more fun mods that you enjoy installing, would be the frosting, et cetera, on the cake!
Then eating = playing! I hope that makes better sense.
Well, that's it for me tonight I think, unless someone else replied. It's TV time, then sleep time after it.
