On and off, I think I've bought most of the houses, and some are, obviously, better than others.
I quite like the Skingrad house, and Benirus Manor (yes, I like that quest, too.

), but I have to say that my favourite is the shack on the Waterfront. Why? Well, it's in the Imperial City (almost) and is handy for the best shops; it's compact and has all the containers I need (after I've purchased 'em); you can pretty it up with silver items, books, vases of flowers, etc; and has only one downside: you can't upgrade the bed.
But ALL the dwellings have major faults, for me:
1. No water supply
2. No bathroom facilities
4. No kitchens or cooking facilities of any sort at all (I wonder where the cakes and occasional pies are cooked?), even the cafe's/hotels have no kitchens!
4. Raw meat presented on the tables for meals
So, ok, I don't expect such basic necessities to be interactive, but it
would be nice to have them
there! Just for a bit of realism. Is it too much to ask?
Mind you, I'm one of those people who wonder where my char could have a quiet pee when dungeon-crawling...
