Post by Vessa »

Some time ago I uninstalled Oblivion and now when I try to reinstall Oblivion with setup.exe it says ''Do you want completely remove Oblivion from your system''. I have clicked ''yes'' many times but it ask the same question every time when I try to run setup.exe and install Oblivion.
Any help, please???

I'm not a techie, but it sounds to me as though you may have parts of the previous install still stuck in your registry or something..

Maybe try some sort of reg cleaner and see what happens? (Though be aware, cleaning your registry is something you need to be careful of)

Mhh, I remember having this problem long ago...

I think you have to try to find the remnants of the first instal and delete them. If that doesn't work, open the map of the oblivion Icon in 'my computer' (you do this by right click). Then you do setup and the game will install. Yes, you'll still have a part of the previous oblivion.

Also, make sure there are no indications (meaning maps or icons) to the previous install.
