Hello,
I made my first character for NWN2 earlier, and when I had to select her voice, I couldn't hear it, even after clicking on "play sound". I heard NPCs speak afterwards.
Any idea what could be causing this?
Thanks in advance!
No voices during character creation
Does that happen with any voice?

You mean you can't hear them speak at character creation, right? Like when you are on one of the last screens and there is a list with things like: 'neutral guardian' 'broading hero' 'rowdy fighter' and things on that list?
If so it should be making a sound. I would suspect something with the drivers to the sound??? but I don't really know. Actually I would check the bioware technical thread and search for a similar problem...
But if you mean the dialogue in the campaign only the NPCs speak there lines. Unlike say the witcher they did not record the voices saying all of the text.
However you should say things like 'follow me' and 'attack' and things like that every once in awhile. (or I need healing)

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
