MOTB lower level Offering room

I need help opening the 2 doors, Where do I find Kaji or how do I get them open without Kaji?
Thanks for any help.
Seen another post that offered help BUT, in trying to bring up Kaji, I get a message that "you have no uses for this feat"
Anyone have any suggestions? I am stumped.

Kaji is Safiya's familiar. He should always be around if Safiya is with you.

Safiya is a member of my squad but even in combat or trying to open the door, when she calls for Kaji, all I get is "you have no uses remaining for this feat". I do not understand and have tried going back to an earlier save. I have just about gave up on the game until I understand what to do. Pm me if you do not want to give an open spoiler please.

You can only call a familiar once per day. So just rest and then try again. If you get the same message after resting... then something's wrong.

I have the something wrong, as I started back a couple of saves and the same message shows up, so I go ahead and progress to those 2 doors, and same message shows up if I am fighting someone or banging away at the doors, Message is "you have no remaining uses for this feat" Is this a bug? or have I done something wrong??

Have you patched your game?

If Safiya is in your party, then she should automatically summon Kaji, and you shouldn't see any error messages. Evidently, that's not what's happening. So... was Kaji following along with you before, but now he's not, or has he been broken all along?

Those locked doors are optional, so it's not a huge deal if you have to skip them.
