Shivering Isles Side Quest . . . Amulet of Disintegration (Possible Spoilers)

OK, I am doing as many of the random side quests as I can since my character has beaten the main quest and SI . . . a Khajit lady in Crucible wants me to find three magic artifacts that will help her weather "the Coming Storm." I have gotten the Calming Pants and the Ring of Dessication, but the Amulet of Disintegration is inside an urn in an old ruin (Milchar, I think) in the north part of the Isles. The Urn is 'Frozen Shut'. I have tried to use fire spells to thaw it out, but no luck. There is a ritual torch in the chamber, but when I try to pick it up, I am told "The torch can be held by any, but owned by none," and the game won't let me pick it up. I'm sure there is a simple solution, I just can't figure it out. Any help much appreciated.
