If I could make a recommendation pricewatch.com is an excellent resource for pricing individual components as it gives you a list from cheapest to most expensive. As has been said monitors and videocards will run you most if you want upper end options.

Bag of Holding

Well there is a problem with unlimited bag of holding wereas is if you overload it with junk it will cause what is know as stuttering which is very annoying, therefore the bag is designed to have a limit so as to not cause this problem. I mean how much **** do you really need. I ...

Well said guys, thats the same way I feel about this mod. Its a very good mod but alot of the dialog seems out of character. For me I didn't particularly like the new dreams scenes with Imoen's slang talk. And yes the romance is very complicated, one of the tricks is to have a character with high ...

Jan's Special Ability

I believe fable is correct here, although Jan does appear to be casting a spell. Btw in one of the mods(I believe its Kelsey) Jan can make in addition to his usual ammo, an ammo that contains insects that act like the third lvl druid spell Summon Insects when he reaches lvl ...

Well this is how it started, in the old days of PnP AD&D you had to go digging through rule books to figure out what dice roll you needed to hit a particular armor class (AC). AC can be anywhere from 10(worst) to -10(best) so AC0 is right in the middle.

With this in mind all you need to know is ...

SK is pretty simple to use, to change an NPCs class I would go to this example http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=28357 works the same for Ranger/Cleric, to change racial enemy go to the characteristics tab and its one of the options listed there. And no changing classes will ...

Yes thats all there is to it, use either hide in shadow or invisibility to get behind enemy and stab away. Note you must be directly behind enemy for this to work. Oh yah and you must have the proper weapon equiped like dagger, shortsword, katana, or longsword.

I beg to differ, it means to hit armor class 0(zero).

Just a small footnote, in the Unfinished Business mod Minsc does indeed achieve a strength of 19 if you complete his quest satisfactorily... No I'm not associated with the UB mod or cliffette_ in any way shape or form. :p

Sleeping

For every 4 hours beyond the 24 hour game time the player will receive a -1 to all of his rolls. As soon as the character rests all penalties will disappear. Every 1 hour of real time = 12 hours game time. So Im thinking these penalties can be quite substantial as every 20 min. real time ...

But if there is a time delay. Why does it work when you cast it directly at the enemy? This is the only way it works for me. Unfortunately the range on it is about half the distance of fireball which puts the mage at great risk.

Skull Trap

I'm having trouble with the Skull Trap spell. I cast it in an area I know my enemy will be but it never seems to trigger when they pass near it. But when one of my party gets to close to the same skull then it decides to trigger. Does anyone else have this problem?

First welcome to the forum demoncavalier. Now to answer your questions.
#1 No you don't need to finish a game to install a mod, however it is recommended that you restart since you may have past much of the mods content.

#2 Yes mods often replace some of the original content, however most mods ...
