Also his Imprisonment as well as his Howl are innate Demi-Lich abilities...

You can't actually fight him anyway, I think...

Yeah, that's what my solo sorcie did...Unloaded five or six SkullTraps in the room...Instant death...
Try making one mage invisible and give them a Wand/Spell of Cloudkill or Deathfog, unload the spell and quickly close the door, do this a couple of times, until they are weak, then clean the rest up ...
