Magus states it right. I have to agree with each one of his points.

Mathurin:

I don't have problems with the timeline. Heck I will excuse all of the story problems I mentioned. My problem is my role in the game, that of an epic medieval rambo. Maybe you have played a FR/DnD session where a single ...

Wizards

Was gonna coment how one reason why you may deem wizards a little underpowered and how they get the almighty ever-dying without experience loss familiar (200exp per class level, or half the loss if the wiz/sorcer makes a Fort save DC 15+. Pg 50 of the PHB, and on pg 12 of Tome & Blood ...

Part 3 (Sorry for the length...)

6. Toolset? Don't know, never eaten that before. I looked at it and decided to let the experts deal with it. It took over 20+ dedicated developers to make the single player campaign what it is now. How the hell can little 'ol me do anything similar like it and ...

Part 2 (I'm long winded and boring)

Ok where are the Red Wizards? Where is Elminster, where are the volumes and volumes of epic characters reknown for saving Faerun? Are they too oblivious to the grandiousity of the events surrounding the city and pretty much the northern western sword coast? And ...

My comment in support of Azhazel

As a DM and somewhat-veteran PnPer, I will have to state that PnP gaming is dying from certain points of views.

I'll start with my opinions and views:

Of the 7 regular players in my ongoing campaign, only 2 managed to continue playing. 5 of them where drawn away ...

Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, its D&D??

Just wondering:

The Elder Scrolls, (Morrowind, Daggerfall, etc), did that originate from AD&D?

Somewhere I heard that it was originally a campaign setting or module or something for AD&D back in the old days?

Also wondering if these are the same Elder scrolls you find in Forgotten Realms ...

Paladin Swords

Official WoTC "Paladin Swords"

My comment; It really depends on what -you- and the DM consider a "Paladin Sword". A +1 [insert favorite weapon name here] or better can be considered a "paladin's sword" so long as it is used for and designed for what ever the Paladin's holy cause ...
