Ok thanks, but if its only for identifying spells, then its "useless" but if spellcraft is also used for scribing, then its quite usefull.

I play a wizard, and have trouthfully added points to spellcraft, as I always do when roleplaying, but I just got wondering, if I don't try to cast counterspells, and I never do, then there really is no need for me to have any points in spellcraft is there ?

Does anyone actually use counterspells ...

I was wondering if I could fire my current henchman, Half-Orc-guy, and take on another henchman to do some of their quets or get there items, and then change back to the Orc ?

Aint there anyone that can help ?

Beating the swords

My mage and my henchman, big half orc guy, beated the swords thus :
I cast imp. bulls strength on the orc, and a fireball in the midst of the swords, killing two and wounding two others.
Then i just M&M'ed the one immune to fire, it was a short fight!

I play a wizard and I'm using the pixie as a familiar, and its a hit, but I'm so sick and tired of the noise the pixie makes, that hellbells ringing infernia of noise it's making.
Does anyone know how to make it SHUT THE FXXK UP ?

I play a wizard and im currently lvl 7 or 6 can't remember, but I have only tried the pixie, and its very nice with its trap an lockpick skills.
But I HATE the noise it makes, all the time there is this ringing noise, it's so annoying that I tried to diable some of the sound options, but ...

Apparently it wasnt Callik I killed but just one of his men, but i found him now, and it all worked out.

BUt i still dont know how to use counterspells.

I meant that I killid Callik (I think)

I cant find the Masterson amulet in the docks district, I found Callik who cheated some old man for the amulet and killed him, but I cant find the amulet did he have the amulet on him ? I didn't realize who it was i killed I just killed him, and sold the loot, but you can't sell quest items now can ...
