Directly east of the Northlands Moonbridge, you can run up into the mountains and hike down to Fargrove in very little time.

The Warwitch needs one second tier class that gives magic boni and one that gives armour and weapons boni. Sorcerer/Valkyrie is the best balanced option, especially for new players. It gives the 'right' boni to easily become a Warwitch. The class requirements for Warwitch are the lowest for any ...

Maybe I'm just too old to play a Ranger Lord. I really need the 'escape rocks', and from my experience, the Eagle Eye does even less in 1.5 than it did in 1.4. Critical hits with ranged weapons are too scarce and too few to make it useful for me, regardless of game version. Just not my thing, I ...

Thanks wulf for your reply. In most action rpgs I have been able to make do even if it means setting the game on easy. When I play melee characters I do attack head on, never do avoidance maneuvers such as strafes, rolling, etc. I do need to heal more often. When I do have problems I will cheat if ...

Yes, and most heavy armour can be used at 'reachable' skill values that aren't too expensive. Throwing a paladin or valkyrie in with your mage isn't such a bad thing.

I think I've seen twenty-odd characters through the game by now, some more than once, but I've never ever made a deal with Voraatus. I never intend to, either, it's just not my cup of tea. If I do need points to spend on anything, there are the trusty old moonbeasts to farm on. :)

From what I've tried and subjected the game and some characters to, the underlying problem of the strike bug is that the hit value is capped at 100; however, the game only seems to read two digits to determine the hit value. At 100, the initial 1 appears to be ignored, leaving you with 00. Thus, 99 ...

I am sorry to hear you suffer from arthritis. In that light, Dungeon Lords may not be the ideal game to play, as parts of it require deft mouse movement; you may find some areas very difficult to manoeuvre.

The Crusader class brings a good deal of mêlée with it. It'll most likely require you to be ...

If I re-use a character, I either do an artifact run (Catacombs - Elders - Ulm - Talendor - Artifacts - Tomb of Souls - Irynthabl) or I use the editor to reset the quests (except the job / guild related ones), and hex-edit experience back in afterwards. Quickly described, this would be: Start new ...

I think none of the three Eastern armour sets has a shield to match up. Also, the ninja mask isn't in the game, even though art for it is in the files. The kasas seem to be intended for the ninja outfit, or possibly any Eastern gear. The kabutos are 'meant' for the samurai gear, and the Imperial ...

The Naga relic area is the only place in the game (1.4 and 1.5 alike) where my characters get 'caught' on the edges of ledges, and rather than jump, they plummet. I've never been able to complete the Naga relic jumps without having to reload multiple times because of that.

I have absolutely no ...

BlackHawk: Most likely you have to "Run as Administrator". For some reason, doing this makes it so the game does not recognize the editor.

But it irks me that a) I've never been able to get into Sleth's Safehouse, and b) never been quested to help Feros Duul, thus never had the Summon Fiend spell. I thought I would, because I've taken both mage classes, but I guess they only ask you to do that after you've done your 2nd tier mage ...

Thanks, though I am not entirely certain what to do still.

But in any case, does it help my next problem?

Do you mean the language troubles?

If so, you can try the following:

- Uninstall BG, and manually look for Bioware / Baldur's Gate entries in the registry. As Metallica sang: KILL'EM ALL ...

I'm not amazed about the lack of stealth, once again. When I played BG2 the first time, it was brand-new, and there were no walkthroughs available.

After the initial disappointment (if you know the original BG very well, BG2 is a downer in many ways), I decided to continue my imported thief ...

Go to program options, Disable Movies=1

Sorry, that's a workaround, not a solution. :)

You need to do a full installation of the game, with all game files on your hard-disk. You can also set the CD paths manually under [Alias] in your baldur.ini file, once the content is indeed on your drive ...

Naga Relic Area CE / 1.5 - SPOILER

As we all know, or should know, prior to the Collector's Edition (1.5) you could simply swim over to the relic and grab it, without having to jump around ledges.

In CE, you actually have to complete the series of jumps to pull a lever to open a door and grab a key.

Well....

Dungeon Lords does ...
