does it have to be Middas when i go? what time around should i go in and do i have to stay inside the ruins or outside?

i noticed the black bowmen respawn themselves but the note and the money does not. does it still work if you have taken the note and money from the cask?

im playing it on the xbox 360. still cant figure out whats gone wrong
