urggggg

I get the same four notes over and over...and over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do the visuals clue to the notes? Because the sound isn't the same although the steam coming out of the thing is. Is it possible that unknowingly I've done something that will prevent me from ever getting this right?

I'm in the Cave of Hidden Music, in the chamber of Music and have struck the stalactites in the correct order, tried it twice, several times, "slept" in between tries, everything I could think of, but my journal entry will still not update. I've got the Xbox Game of the year edition. Have completed ...
