I have the same problem with putting the "Cat" figure on the pedestal because the "Give" button doesn't light up.

I'd tried everything reloading, playing this part of the game one more time nothing helped.

I'm using Windows Vista Home Edition (32-bits) with Intel Pentium Dual Core processor and I don't have any problems with running the game (apart form the bugs inside the game).

Windows Vista itself is not the source of problem.
