the ring at night while the countess sleeps will be in her jewlry box so break in at night and go get it watch out for the personal gaurd hes a annoying 1

i was doing this quest and followed the walkthrough but i got arrested in the gaurd quarters and now have returned to the doorway wich leads to it but it says i dont have the key. How do i get the key back and wich key is it????
