Here are a few...

I have one of the best DMs ever. With her there are never any so-called "train rides". But things can get out of hand.

Here is the first one:

I was playing a bard that worshipped Nerrul(god of death). One of the people in my play group always plays a bard and hates being ...

New Party

Alright, I have taken your suggestions and made a new party.
This is what I have:

Fighter/mage/cleric
Fighter/thief
Ranger/cleric
Wild mage

It has two tanks and one semi-tank, two casters, two healers/buffers and one thief.

And Schu, those weren't guidelines.

Perfect four member party

I've been playing a LOT recently, and I decided that the game was too easy when you play with all six party slots filled.

So, I now only play with four member parties(including the PC). After a miserable failure with my first four-member party, I have been gradually getting better. I now know that ...

Hmmm...

I wonder...why is the berserker named Bubba?

Also...does it happen to dual-wield... DAGGERS?!?!?!?!

I personally never had much respect for the wee-folk, besides the fact that some of them make for wierd character choices. Also, I seem to find that besides cheesy half-orc uber-fighters ...

Is a full party necessary?

I think it is more fun(and MUCH more difficult) to play with a party of four people or less. I myself am playing with four custom weaklings.

So here's what I recommend for NPCs: Minsc(loads of fun) or Korgan, Aerie or Edwin, and Jaheira or Anomen. These decisions, of ...

Well, I'm now using the pixie prick with the +2 dagger, and I can sorta kill things. I do around 10 damage per hit.

Say, does anyone else have their own ridiculous character to post? Like, maybe a half-orc thief or a fighter with three CON?

I think I might want to do a 'Deathless Journey' too. Unfortunately, I am having trouble installing Tactics, so it won't be nearly as epic.

If I do end up doing this Deathless Journey, it will be with a party of four custom characters I have already designed.

Here they are:

1)(PC) A halfling ...

The point of this character is that he dual-wields DAGGERS . Not long swords, or even short swords, just two tiny daggers. The reason I like this character is because he is just so ridiculous.

Mainly I like him because halflings are pretty much the last race on Faerun that one would expect to ...

Tx, I really should have thought to use the guide first.

I still can't kill crap though.

If you guys have any advice on how to effectively use this party, plz post a reply.

Halfling barbarian!!! (spoilers)

Due to a suggestion on another thread, I have started a halfling barbarian that dual-wields daggers.

I am using him in an entirely custom-made party of four characters that I plan to win the game with. They are: 1) my main character, 2) a human shapeshifter who I will dual-class to a fighter, 3) a ...

I've found a half-orc monk/sorcerer/rogue to be moderately difficult.

Edit: this is really because I tried to distribute skills and experience equally among the classes.

One of the things that got me REALLY annoyed when I first played BG2 was the innability to explore. In the first game, you could go travelling all over the map. But in BG2 you have to trigger some event in order to travel to areas outside the city.

Additionally, I liked the plot of the original ...

I don't see why people think Kangaxx is so hard. I only had to reload once when fighting him.

Toughest battle...hmm...the battle I had to reload the most was the battle with the shadow dragon in the temple ruins. Of course, my characters were only level eights then...
