I had the option of buying fireward crystals when I went fighter/adept, so possibly the adept thing unlocks those, or else your game just bugged out. However, with that character I never bought a fireward, and laughed my way through the whole game. If you're already level 21 you shouldn't have any ...

Somebody had a trainer for v1.0 or 1.1, and that trainer let you activate and deactivate calsses and quests. If you don't mind playing without the automap, or already aren't playing v1.3 you can run that thing, and it'll do the trick for you. I don't remember what it was called, but just do a search ...

I think you just missed the alchemy skill. I've been offered it a couple times, once for sure w/o choosing the sorceror class. Maybe it's only a random skill you get from the witch lady in Fargrove next to where you set loose the troll?

Hrmm. If that's the case, I really have no good ideas. You have to hold forwards as you jump, and you have to jump right on the corner, but you're already doing that. My last, best guess, is maybe acrobatics lets you jump farther? I've always had 4 in acrobatics when I got there, maybe that's the ...

I personally have no ideas other than what the walk through says, and can imagine no alternatives from experience.
Basically, just camp out for a minute or three where the knight is getting attacked by shadows. Then, go through the gate, and immediately run over to the right towards the first ...

I would suspect it's a game in progress that's futzing up the automap. For one, automap information is saved in the game.
Try starting a new game, and seeing what happens. Also, try leaving the area you're in, and coming back, or going to a new area, that may trigger the map info, but may also fubar ...

I installed 1.3, and it just worked. The unmodified version didn't work. I updated to 1.3, started a new game, and the game started with the map on. Everywhere I move I can se the map update as I get there. You can hit 'M' and turn the map off, but if hitting it doesn't turn it on, then there's ...

I only noticed them after I started fighting the boss, they got in my way, and their HP didn't seem to be as low as it should. Now the boss is dead, and they're immortal. I can't say for sure, but fighting the boss, I thought they had too many hitpoints for as many times as I saw their name come up ...

I've never seen the helm of lords. I also took the luck hareldry the first time through, and comparing my second game, it didn't help. If anything, it hurt, as I found better stuff earlier the second time through.
Also, I agree, I hate playing chest roulette. This time around the game was obscenely ...

Kewl. I guess that stuff is just ultra rare there (I tried each chest at least 12-15 times). I found that necklace you're talking about earlier, and still have it in inventory in case I decide to use it some day. I guess it just takes persistance, and a willingness to spend a great deal of time at ...

That's what I did, and I've had no issues of any real importance.
First time through the game tho, I would make sure to actually read everything somebody who may be important has to say. Otherwise you may have to start reading through more of the walkthrough than you want, and end up ruining some ...

Since you've made me think about it, and I've started redoing a few of the decent chests, I think the chests may be more specific as to what they contain than I previously thought.
I think Iparnell is right about the flavor types, but I think there may be 1 or two sub categories of each. For ...

Whelp, I don't know what it is, but something definately adversly affects the amount of experience you get from killing a monster. I now get 168-172k for "weak" drakes, and 210k (little variation) for "tough" drakes. Heck, Voraatus only gave me 1.4 mil exp. Granted, killing him was a joke, and only ...

Demonic Witness

So I made my own bagain with Voraatus, and decided I wanted the experience from killing the little weenie too. Now I've got a pair of "Demonic Witnesses in the room, and they seem to be immortal. They won't attack, but it would be fun to kill them too. Anybody got any ideas?

Unfortunately, there's really no good answer to that question. All the good weapons are in treasure chests. There's nothing worthwhile in any predictable place. There's a few good chests in the naga temple, a few in the temple in the vale of ruin, and the best stuff prior to the end of the game is ...

You've gotta finish the quest for the celestial guild first. See #16 here: http://www.gamebanshee.com/dungeonlords/walkthrough/fargrove.php . You just have to do the horn and mage rescue thing, you don't actually have to join the guild. However, if you know what you want for your #2 second tier slot ...

I agree. Magic can take a little more coordination than fighting, but you gotta be on the ball for some of the fighting too. I think, at least to get a feel for it, go Urgoth for race, and Fighter for class. Then you can pump up your melee fast and easy. This includes strength and vitality, in ...
