Crap. No, you're right. I just forgot that the auto renew option makes it use a bloodpoint even if you set the cost to 0. My mistake.

I suppose you could set the blood cost to 0 and the duration to some really high number. If I remember correctly, the PnP mod does this with Fortitude.

yes I have 1.2 installed, and also all the other patches
I sortof of solved the problem with this work around.
Copied my saved games into my 'vampireold' folder. (I renamed 'vampire' to 'vampireold' before installing this patch (3.0)
Renamed vampire to vampirenew
renamed vampireold to vampire ...

I have a problem after I loaded this patch
I have retrieved the pendant from the hotel to return to Theresa.
I get back to the asylum and Jeanette is upstairs.
However, as soon as I try to talk to her, The game crashes back to the desktop straight away. Happens every time.
Any ideas?

I see this mentioned a lot. to turn off 'background tasks' if the game is laggy.
But which ones?(I assume 'tasks' means processes?)
i tried killing all of them, but my desktop disapeared!

it came back again but so did a lot of the background tasks as well.
