This old thing is still around.... I love it! :D

It's still around but you know it's quiet when page 1 goes back 40+ days.

The internet's grown quite a bit over the years and there's so many avenues to vocalize these days, people can't be everywhere even if they can go anywhere while sitting at ...

Five times I think...4 in different "elemental" forms, and one in his regular form! If you keep Wynne and her mass heal around, you shouldn't have many problems!

This was tough, I'm a duelist rogue and had sten, shale, and morrigan. I had my greatest success when I switched my rogue and sten to ...

If I recall, he will get up three or four times. The different forms the sloth demon assumes have the same strengths and weaknesses as the creature itself so use that to your advantage. The lyrium pools (or whatever they are) refill with each form so be sure to take advantage of that as well. And ...

I'm playing the game as rogue/assassin and have now finished the fade in the circle tower. I found all the stat boosts but my magic and willpower don't appear to have gone up. Unless, these particular stat boosts are similar to leveling up where grabbing them won't cause the ability score in the ...

I'm not sure on the HP thing.

Shapeshifting for me usually involves casting my top tier spells at the onset of combat and then shifting instead of drinking lyrium. My preference is the bereskarn form and I use her as a tank. The form usually perishes in combat as I make no efforts to keep them from ...

HP's definitely change with forms

spider - goes up a little
bear - goes up a lot
insect plague - hp's go down but the form is resistant to many damage types
level 4 boost - improves HPs and other stats of every form

Equipment definitely does not transcend the shape shifted forms. And for each form, it seems there are different sets of physical stats. So shapeshifting disregards anything from the humanoid form.

All in all, shapeshifting is regarded as one of the weaker specializations but I rather like it. It ...

I'm there right now for the first time. Is that right? 21 points to ability scores for the protagonist, that's seven levels worth of points. Based on that, its got to be recommended to go here first. Ironically, it is one of my (what appears to be) last stops in the game.

I would agree this is a temperature issue inside your computer. Perhaps dust bunnies are conspiring against your gaming time.

Early recommendations would be open up the computer and clean out the dust. If your case has a dust filter, it probably needs to be cleaned off (an issue I've found myself ...

Likewise, I only came across three summoning quests in the mage tower, all on the apprentice level of the tower. But, that's where I'm at now in the game and have only completed that floor of the tower; currently on the second.

At this point, I'm happy with the game as it is. If they're going to release DLC every four to six weeks, I'll wait until it comes out bundled for a better price.

Once you get to the third level of stealth, you can set traps without breaking it. Personally, I think traps are great for setting up ambushes in indoor areas, especially early on where every little bit counts.

But I wouldn't worry much about stealth associated with setting traps. Presently, Sten ...

Let's be constructive about this, instead of arguing interminably to no effect: if you have no difficulty with what Bioware-EA has done, then I would ask you and anybody else who feels the same way: is there a line you personally would draw? If having a person showing up every time you camp who ...

If these effects are active and a mage drinks a lyrium potion, is the mana ...

EA catches a lot of flack, and all of it is deserved. That said, Bioware long ago (actually, right after BG2) ceased being the company made by a few young physicians in Alberta who loved playing tabletop D&D on long, cold, winter nights. They've been part of the Game Industry for years, producing ...
