You won't see her again until later in the game, I could say when but that would spoil it for you. Sufice to say, that you can eventually see her whenever you want too.

The Sword of Aeons with the 550 attack can only be found in the original Fable; it does not ...

Another poster on this forum had the exact same problem with you; don't remeber the solution though. It's probably on the 2nd or 3rd page if you wish to look at the suggestions there. As for me, I think a hero save was suggested and may have worked.
