Actually, despite his responses it does increase his morale. He'll get mad but secretly admire you for doing so apperently. Just one of the little twinks that make PST so great, not everything is obvious. :)

Generally be nice to him and his kin. Do what seems like the "right" thing for him.

Also, whenever you have the chance, bind yourself to him through oath and promiss to release him at any cost.

The traditional way of cause. It simply provided for more of a challenge and it didn't degenerate into hack&slash like NWN has a tendency to..

If anything, they should add more personalities for the various sidekicks so that you can chose one that fits your playing style and let the AI waste spells ...

The multiplayer mode is basicly the same as the singleplayer part except that you have your friends along for the ride instead of the various sidekicks you can accumulate throughout BG. It's very badly made tho and not really worth the effort unless on a LAN.
