Thanks for the reply.
I installed the new patch and loaded a save right before the end of the fight, but the bug is still there.
Anyone got any other ideas?

Game-breaking bug following Giovanni Mansion
I just completed the Giovanni mansion mission and, following the fight against the Changs and the cut scene with my character taking the sarcophogus I was transported to the Ventrue tower. I tried to report back to the Prince, but the dialogue I got was the dialogue following the museum mission ...

This one is a strange one but it seems to help. Load up Vampire, and when you're at the main menu, ctrl+alt+del to get back to your desktop and bring up task manager. Go to the "processes" tab, find Vampire, right click on it and set it's priority to "belownormal".

Problems regarding mouse "lock" and bindings
Recently I reinstalled the game, but I'm having a few problems.
Firstly, the game won't let me bind the "use" function to the right mouse button. Apparently this is because the official 1.2 patch "fixed" a bug that the binding produced by making the binding impossible. Anyone know a workaround ...

I installed the patches, but now I can't load my savegames because they're "from an earlier version". This game is far more trouble than its worth. I understand why people enjoy the gameplay/setting etc, but I simply cannot understand how such a bug-ridden piece of software has become to be regarded ...

Problem/Bug with getting the car
After investing many, many hours of play I've just managed to get the car from Smitty in the Den. I gave him the gizmo he needed and the $2000, so he tells me the car is mine.
The problem is that, when I walk over to the car to drive it off, nothing happens. I click on the car and my character just ...

Unlocking the Downtown haven
Hi. I've played the game through twice now (Brujah and Tremere) and on both occasions I never got access to the Downtown haven (floor four of the sunrise hotel). I know that you can get it however, as my brother got it when he played. How do I get it?

Need help on palguebearer quest (spoilers)
On the plaguebearer quest I've found out that the second plaguebearer lives in the sewers. However, the only place that I can imagine him being is behind a locked blue door in these sewers. When I try to open this door I simply get a "locked door" sound and the "padlock" icon - I do not have the ...

Thank you both for your replies. You've re-assured me somewhat and I'll probably pick the game up for Christmas. Even so, I would still like some advice on upgrading my graphics card and maybe my RAM.
Also, will my relatively weak processor (1.48ghz) be a problem, even though its stronger than the ...

Will Bloodlines run well on my PC
I'm thinking of getting Bloodlines but I'm not entirely sure that it will run well on my computer. These are my computer's stats:
1.48 ghz
512 RAM
128 meg graphics card (I'm not sure which card as I haven't bought it yet - any advice on which one to get?)
Thanks in advance for your help.
