Has to be vclans Player_mal(however the heck you spell it) If you don't put the Player_ there, it does wierd things.

Could be vclan Player_mal.... either way, I know it works cause I started my current game as a Tremere and switched to Malk.

But yes, you do loose basically everything on the char sheet, so you'll need to do the giftxp ## cheat to buy it back ...
