Yeah, I already had a knife but it seems you have to slash them in a specific order. I think it has something to do with the chronological order of the paintings : Caine slays Abel first, then he meets Lilith and etc. At least it worked.

Paintings at Gallery Noir

I'm trying to slash the paintings as Jeanette asked me, but when I hit them, I just get hurt and the paintings aren't scratched at all. I guess there is something I must do before, but I can't figure what. Any idea?

Does Conviction lower Poison resist?

The title says it.

I plan to start a game with one of my friends where I would be an Avenger and he a Poison Necro, but I was wondering if Conviction would be of any use to him?

I got my numbers from the manual as well, page 156 to be precise :)

And no, you don't have the bonuses after lvl 9.

Right, you can use Carso normally, but swith to Foebane-Purifier at times, or other combos as you see fit.

I never played with an assassin but I'm pretty sure you can solo WK and possibly ToB as well (not easily though...)

If I were you, I'd try it, and if it's really too hard, get out of the Keep, take the NPCs and try again with them.

Yeah, keep Carsomyr for yourself, and give Crom to someone else in your party.

You can still boost your strength to good levels with girdles anyway.

i think it's the same whether you're multi or dual classed, you get all the druid spells anyway. Even if you dual at lvl 2 I think (although it'S hardly possible in BG2 but could be done if imported from BG1)

And if you're not out of the Underdark yet there's the mage imprisonned just North of the Duergar's encampment. If you agree to do his quest, and then ask for all the loot, you'll fight him, and he carries 3 or 4 lvl 9 scrolls :)

that would be a correct order to buff, but if you dothis just after "waking", chances are most of your spells will wear off before you even encounter an ennemy.

What I usually do is cast the very long spells right after resting, and when a fight starts, I cast other spells I could need depending of ...

When, they say immediately, go there ASAP, you usually have one hour (gametime) to get there I think. I suggest you do the quests as fast as possible, and after a specific quest, they'll give you 3 days so you can explore and do minor quests then.

Totally doable, I personnally did it all the way to Saradush with a Sorceror but I had a bug and my savegame got corrupted :|

I know someone from the Bioware Forums that did SoA + ToB with Tactics and Ascension on Insane with a Sorceror without cheating or cheesing!

I don't guarantee it ...

Hehe, funny how you guys have so many theories :p

In BG2, here's what constitution affects:

CON 15 : 1 more hp for each level untill 9
CON 16 : Same thing
CON 17 : Same thing, but only for fighters, Paladins, Rangers, Barbarian and their subclasses (which means other classes stop getting any ...
