I bought the Limited Edition, of which the only good thing about it is, it's one DVD. I love that, and am meh about the rest. I also bought the strategy guide, I always do that for games that are rpg's and I know I'll beputting in a lot of time into. I never read the walkthrough's untill I've played ...
Is that mod itself bugless? I was under the impression that it still had some unfinished business of its own to take care of.
Its been a while since I played this mod, but it was working fine when I used it and the bugs were ironed out. It's a pretty good addition to the game ...

I look at a specialization wizard as a middle ground between a regular wizard and a sorcerer. You are willing to have a spell caster that is limited in what he can cast, and you want a spell caster that gets a bonus spells so it only puts him 1 spell behind a Sorcerer, so you want the “more” spells ...

Well I’ve just completed my 4th run through IWDII
This is my 4th complete run through. I’ve also gone about half way on a HOF run and gave up. The party just wasn’t cutting it, so I decided to try again another time with a different party. The party I just completed the regular game with, I’m planning on trying another hof run with this group and ...

Well I’ve never soloed. But I played a monk the first time I went through IWD2 and he was the weakest link in the party. Monks don’t own like they do in BG2, where they are unstoppable (and frankly unfair). I’ve never played a monk any of the other times I’ve gone through IWD2, unless it was to get ...
I missed one of your phrases, above: my apologies. Where did Atari say BG3 was in development? Can you quote the text? Because I monitor the industry mags, and none of them have ever mentioned that. It stands to reason that they'd have this info even before PC Gamer, which is a consumer ...
How is it a scam? No game development was announced, and no one in the industry figured BG3 was being done. I still do some writing in the industry and maintain contacts, and no one believed BG3 was being worked on. Nor have I encountered any publicity anywhere else that would lead me ...

PCGamer had a d&d 30th Anniversary issue. Atari seemed to want to get all their games in this issue. NWN2 was announced a few weeks before this issue hit the stands and Atari said BG3 was in development. It had a one page blurb, which didn't say much. It hinted at it being a prequel and it gave no ...

Clerics do have a little difference in what spells they can cast. But it doesn’t show up in your list if you are not allowed to cast it. On top of that clerics of Mask are allowed to cast this spell. So there should be no problem with casting this spell. Although I can’t speak from experience as I ...

Well you said you want it different and hard, so I would say do the HOF deal. It’s real hard. And the number of monsters is different, as well as having insane amounts of hp’s. HOF also has different loot, so you get really super powerful items, which will make the loot part of the game different ...

Question about Paladin Spells?
This is for planning down the road. I never have taken a Paladin into HOF mode, so the version I created for my current game has only 14 for wisdom, and I plan on taking this party into hof when finished. But after looking at the gamebanshee’s spell list they have spells listed up to 6th level for ...

This is a work around, it gives you an item that allows you to use this feat. Not a great fix, but the only one I know of.
