My demo started out with my rather evil, pirate looking character walking up to a guy with a large glowing orb, most likely because he had a quest of some kind. To my discovery upon interacting with the spherical object it was as if I had taken the '˜drink me' potion from the Alice in wonderland novel, as I was shrunken down to minuscule proportions, whereby one misplaced footstep from a normal sized person would mean I would be a goner.
Thankfully I didn't have to explore the regular Fable universe as a tiny adventurer; rather I was transported into what felt like a tabletop diorama situation. The game in terms of look and art style was still the Fable I knew from before I was shrunk, and I appeared as the same size as normal on screen so it wasn't much of a leap. My main objective whilst shrunk down was to find a princess who is being held against her will by an evil baron and to set her free.
