Superannuation has discovered that Electronic Arts registered the domain imperatorthegame.com late last year, suggesting that Mythic's unique "alternate earth" MMORPG might be back in development. The idea that Rome never fell but continued into sci-fi territory was always a neat idea, but I'm not sure there's a place for an MMORPG with a completely unknown setting anymore. It's tough for people to leave established games and jump into something they've never heard of or experienced before.
