id Tech does not have a very strong history with RPGs, though Anachronox and Strife are both excellent titles. Still, this news does not only have some waves throughout the gaming industry, but it's worth keeping in mind, as it seems to make it even more likely that Zenimax will use the tech as much as they can, so chances are even higher now we'll see Bethesda and Bethesda-published RPGs based on id Tech 5.
