Developers and Their First Gaming Experiences

NowGamer brings us a semi-interesting feature that spotlights where various "top" developers lost their gaming virginity. BioWare's Ray Muzyka starts us off:
Back in 1979 or so my school got one of the first Apple II machines the ones with the cassette tape drives to load software, as this was before the advent of floppy disk drives, let alone CDs or DVDs or internet downloads. The first program I ever played was an adventure game called Pirate Cove by Scott Adams (a different fellow than the one who writes Dilbert). The game took three tries to load, each taking about 3-5 minutes, and I nearly gave up but my science teacher said I should continue, as he was sure this was something I'd really enjoy. He was right.
For me, I think it was either Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord on the Apple II or Dungeons of Daggorath on the TRS-80. Two amazing games for their time.
